Refund Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

Service fees pay for our time, travel, and documentation, whether or not a person is ultimately served. This policy explains when refunds apply.

Cancellation before the first attempt

If you cancel before we make the first attempt, you receive a full refund of the service fee, less any clerk fees already paid on your behalf.

Cancellation after attempts begin

If you cancel after attempts have started (for example, because the case settled), the fee for completed attempts is retained. Where your quote allowed for more attempts than were made, the unused portion is refunded as described in the quote.

Unsuccessful service

If service can't be completed after the quoted diligent attempts, the service fee is earned, and you receive an affidavit of non-service. Skip tracing fees are earned when the search is performed, regardless of the result.

Rush and same-day fees

If we accept a rush or same-day job but don't make the first attempt within the promised timeframe, the rush or same-day surcharge is refunded.

Our errors

If a return of service contains an error on our part, we'll correct and re-notarize it at no charge. If our error requires the papers to be re-served, we'll re-serve at no charge or refund the fee for the affected service.

Notary appointments

Travel fees are refunded if you cancel at least 2 hours before the appointment. Statutory notary fees are charged only for notarizations performed.

Billing errors

Tell us within 60 days of an invoice. Confirmed overcharges are refunded or credited within 10 business days.

How to request a refund

Email support@palmcoastprocessing.us or call (386) 446-7193 with your name, job reference, and the reason. We acknowledge within 1 business day and respond in writing within 10 business days. Approved refunds go to the original payment method or by check within 10 business days of approval.

Disputes

If you disagree with our decision, see the dispute resolution section of our Terms of Service.
